Founded in 2006, the Utah Committee for the Advancement of Contemporary Art is devoted to the advancement of Contemporary Art in Utah and the expansion of its collections by the purchase of artwork and its placement in public collections.
Funds collected by the members of the committee are pooled together to purchase contemporary artwork which is then placed in a public art collection in Utah. Each member of the Committee has equal voting power at the yearly purchasing meeting. |
